What Makes The Madeline Spectacular?
Staying engaged, both physically and mentally, along with having a sense of purpose helps individuals with memory loss maintain their abilities as long as possible. A typical day often begins with a physical activity following breakfast to wake up the body, followed by a group daily paper reading to stay connected with current events. Our residents then break out into large group activities, smaller group activities, or engage one-on one with “interest kits” that are unique to each resident.
Our days are personalized to each resident to maximize their well-being. Intentionally designed for memory care residents, our layout is ideal for accommodating various types of engagement. When walking through our community and neighborhoods, you will often find several activities going on at once — a small group book reading, interest kit time, music therapy, large group activities, and families visiting with residents.
Food is a way of life, and it’s one of the best ways to make a place feel like home! Mealtime also brings each neighborhood together for a shared, social experience. Our chefs prepare 3 flavorful, nutritionally balanced meals. We offer entrée choices at every meal that rotates to provide variety. We can accommodate modified diets. We help our residents maintain their independence during dining by preparing dishes to allow for easier chewing and swallowing.
Because each neighborhood offers their own intimate dining room, our care partners will oversee their meal intake and offer reminders to our residents to eat, if they need extra support. This will ensure they get the nutrients they need to support their overall health. We also serve regional favorites like chicken and dumplings and fresh Georgia peaches.
Our residents are able to take advantage of the wide array of amenities that both ease and enrich their life while being tended to by friendly, dedicated care staff.

Life Skill Stations At The Madeline
Life Stations are customized areas dedicated to the traditions and life experiences of our residents.
Within each therapeutic station, residents can participate in and connect with experiences that define who they are. One of our most popular life stations is the Madeline boutique, where residents shop for and purchase a new outfit with play money.
